Workshop-3/1/08 There Must Be 50 Web 2.0 Ways to Tell Your Story (Part 1&2)
In today's workshop we used a digital mapping tool to tell a story using images. Then we focused on taking the same story and images and using a different web 2.0 tool we designed a different type of story concept. The two web 2.0 tools I used were CommunityWalk (Mapping tool) and Mixbook. I enjoyed CommunityWalk. It was easy to use and upload pictures to. My other partners in my collaboration project and I decided that it will work great in our project. Mixbook was a little frustrating to use. The pictures I uploaded were very blurry and there weren't any directions on how to fix it or why they uploaded blurry. I didn't find any specifications or suggestions on sizes of pictures to use. It was easy to use though. I will try to link both projects so you can compare and explore.
